Let your creativity take flight by connecting with nature through drawing and watercolors in two new workshop trilogies.

Award-winning artist Charlotte Holden is back, expanding on the basics of bird drawing and watercolor classes she taught last winter. Delve deeper into these crafts with Charlotte’s three-series workshops: Drawing Birds and Birds in Watercolor, only at Bedford Audubon.

Charlotte Holden is an award winning artist whose scientific illustrations have been featured in the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Living Bird magazine as well as publication projects from the New York Botanical Garden, the American Museum of Natural History, and others. Charlotte has created art workshops for clients including Bedford Audubon, the Putnam Art Council and The Art Spot in Ridgefield CT.

Drawing Birds:
Saturdays September 7 and 21, October 5, 10am-12pm. Experience Level: All Levels welcome. Series Cost: $135 (members), $185 (non-members; includes an annual membership). The fee will help offset the costs of running the program, three 2-hour workshops, all art supplies and materials. Single-class registrations are not available. Class size is limited to 10 participants.

Birds in Watercolor:
Saturdays October 26, November 9 and 23, 10:00am-12:00pm. Experience Level: Intermediate to advanced (or anyone who took Drawing Birds). Series Cost: $135 (members), $185 (non-members; includes an annual membership). The fee will help offset the costs of running the program, three 2-hour workshops, all art supplies and materials. Single-class registrations are not available. Class size is limited to 10 participants.

Both workshops will take place at Bedford Audubon’s headquarters, the historic Bylane Farm in Katonah.
