Why I’m passionate about Bedford Audubon:

Bedford Audubon epitomizes my beliefs in environmental stewardship and education.

More about me:

I am an environmental educator, retired from full-time teaching at John Jay High School, but remain active in helping out in their Science Department whenever I can.  I am on the board of Friends of Trailside Museum and Ward Pound Ridge Reservation where I also serve as secretary.  Previously I have worked for The New York Botanical Garden and the State University of New York.

My favorite bird is the:

It’s hard to choose! Barred Owls and Pileated Woodpeckers are two.
