Why I’m passionate about Bedford Audubon:
Spending time outdoors is where I love to be! Birds, trees and all of nature have taught me about the interconnectedness of our world and almost every time I spend time in nature, I learn something new. The peace there rejuvenates me. Protecting this sanctuary is very important to me, especially in this time where it is so threatened. Working with like-minded people here at Bedford Audubon to save our environment is very rewarding.
More about me:
I grew up on Long Island where the summers were spent on the water, at the beach, and in the garden. Fresh seafood and vegetables were the norm. My parents were dedicated backyard birders. I remember having breakfast watching the birds, a very special memory for me. I’ve worked in the not for profit sector for 6 years and have a background in planning and managing special events, meetings and conferences.
My favorite bird is the:
Red Tailed Hawk
Ask me about:
Massage Therapy, meditation, nature walks and food.
