Pollinators of the Leon Levy Native Garden

Get to know your local neighborhood pollinators!

Alex Hall, our 2017 Leon Levy Native Garden Intern, created a beautiful and informative video on the pollinators– the bees, flies, and butterflies– she saw frequenting the native plants of the Garden this summer. Alex not only was a fantastic gardener, she is also a keen observer and gifted videographer (armed with just her iPhone!).

Best of luck to Alex in her sophomore year at University of Maryland, where she’s majoring in Landscape Architecture!

A huge thanks to the Rusticus Garden Club and the Bedford Garden Club for their continued support of our Garden internship program! Their support means we can continue to work with motivated college students and help train the next generation of landscape designers, horticulturalists, and native plant advocates.
