Join us for a Cape May Birding Extravaganza on October 6-9
Be a part of a perennial favorite– our annual Columbus Weekend trip to Cape May, New Jersey!
Fall is the best season to visit this world-class birding hotspot, and our expert Naturalist-in-Residence Tait Johansson will maximize your experience by leading you to a variety of habitats in search of migrating raptors, as well as other migratory and resident passerines and shorebirds.
Past Cape May trip highlights included the spectacle of morning flight, clouds of thousands of Tree Swallows, impressive numbers of Sharp-shinned and Cooper’s Hawks zipping by, extended views of a (very adorable) sleeping Common Nighthawk, a rare sighting of Bell’s Vireo, multiple Peregrine Falcons and Merlins visible at once, and much more.
